Lower Moss Wood is an educational nature reserve and wildlife hospital . It provides a place for schools, disabled visitors, environmental groups and others to come and learn about conservation and the environment. The wildlife hospital takes in any orphaned, sick or injured wild animal or bird for care. Lower Moss Wood is also a private nature reserve.

By becoming a Friend of Lower Moss Wood, you can help us continue our work to rescue and rehabilitate Britain’s injured wildlife.


For £3 per month you will receive a friendship badge, 4 newsletters per year, invitation to AGM and free admission to Friends Event.


For £6 a month you will receive everything in the bronze friendship pack plus a car stick and a pen.


For £10 a month you will receive everything in the bronze and silver friendship pack plus a special wildlife themed thank you gift.
